
Why this recipe?
This porridge is not only quick to make, but also provides you with high-quality insect protein, long-lasting energy, and an extra portion of flavor. Ideal for active days, conscious nutrition, and anyone who likes things simple.
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- 40 g MyBugBar protein porridge (strawberry or chocolate)
- 200 ml unsweetened plant milk (e.g. oat, soy or almond)
- 1 tbsp nut butter (e.g. almond or peanut)
- 1 handful of fresh berries (e.g. raspberries, strawberries or frozen mix)
- Optional: 1 tsp cocoa nibs or chopped nuts
- Optional: ½ tsp cinnamon or vanilla powder
Preparation:

Heat the porridge and plant milk in a small saucepan while stirring.

Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.

Remove from heat and stir in nut butter .

Pour into a bowl and top with berries, nuts or cocoa nibs .

Enjoy warm – best straight after training or for breakfast.
Tip:
For extra creaminess: Fold in 1-2 tablespoons of plant-based yogurt or add a splash of coconut milk.
