Cross-reactions are possible if you have existing allergies to crustaceans or molluscs, or to house dust mites.
Preparation
Preparation: Soak the cricket mince in three times the amount of hot water or vegetable stock (70 g cricket mince with 210 ml water) for about 20 minutes, then squeeze out lightly. The cricket mince can then be seasoned, fried or used in other delicious dishes as you wish.

Background:
Eating crickets is not a new idea. In many regions of the world – Thailand, Mexico and Nigeria among them – insects have been part of the menu for centuries.
At EntoSus we take an innovative route: we farm crickets in a controlled environment and process them into high-quality, sustainable meat alternatives.
In doing so we follow the principles of a regional circular economy and produce our crickets in Bremen.
